Review: At its first reading this title, you may think, Ah ... Ninja Turtles ... a kid. This finding is partially understandable, given that most people think drift Saturday morning cartoon show that was made for young children. But if you're one of the few people who remember the original TMNT comic and since it was dark, you probably think of more to name. This live-action version Teenager turtles extends to comic book origins and baby things sacrificed in favor of a darker, more intense film. This is key to this size film. Shows the turtles as they are intended to be displayed. The film is still fun, even when it comes to viewers throughout the early 90s teen slang and ass-kicking that you can squeeze onto celluloid. Only problem is that all the Ninja Turtles series comes with love or hatred label attached to it, often even give them a bad rap, it's really not worth it. Film is not Blade Runner Spiderman or by any means, but still a great little piece of cinema that can just sit back with a bowl of popcorn (or maybe pizza) and enjoy without much thought. Unfortunately, this is as good as the series gets (not that this movie could not get much better). Continuation (TMNT 2: Secret of silt and TMNT 3) Arent really big. TMNT 2 misses rough edge that inventions this movie is good (with vanilla ice cream on the soundtrack does not help much either) and TMNT 3 is obviously aimed directly at the youngest. This is a great little film. Cowabunga! |
