| Review: This film is ishardli scene-by-scene account of Brian De Palma Carrie large. Yes, it's impossible to compare any remake its original version, especially when the original is considered classics. Unfortunately, these days lacks originality, seemingly talented director Kimberly Peirce than to succumb to the commercial appeal of the film in the sole interest of cash gains on the quality dilute. Well, I'm not sure if I will film their money back because of the mediocrity in all aspects of its quality. But on the other hand, there is a lot of garbage out there that make a lot of money. All efforts reimagining, is an attempt to create a franchise or a sequel or modernize the story is completely undermine the essence of this otherwise impressive story. The destructiveness of social isolation, religious bigotry, bullying, to name a few, said the novel by Stephen King in any case effectively communicated in this film. There is a lack of performance bond Moretzs and she is convincing as the vulnerable and socially awkward girls. Julianna Moore and still provide adequate power. But she can carry a movie now. How talented Moretz is such that it is taken for this film. As such, the film is mildly amusing at best. |
