Review: Humans have a natural instinct as a predator kill, but the company forces us to repress these feelings to live in a civilized manner .... led by the new Ethan Hawke filming of The Purge, a very interesting concept of the film, which explores the future of the community where all evil is allowed for one night ... Its year 2022 (not so far), and unemployment in the United States 1%, crime is at a historic low, and, in general, they all seem happy, especially James Sandin (Hawke), a wealthy citizen who has made a fortune selling security systems for the home to be used for annual cleaning. Basically the reason why the unemployment and crime is very low because, for one night a year, Purge happened, where all crimes (murder, robbery Raper, the whole lot) made the laws, and there are no police or emergency allowed to interfere. Mad. But it is also interesting. James and his family are happy to avoid cleaning using a security system out of their big house, while the rest of the people to kill each other, but everything is changed when their son young Charlie has decided to let strangers into the house ...... It 'started as a really fascinating movie, the concept of crime law got me hooked, but fast enough, he fell into a formulaic action film in which Ethan Hawke fighting a gang of his house with a variety guns, and all the originality is lost in the mists of the bullet (literally). Time is running out (85mins) and various twists every 5 minutes to make sure it is not too boring, so all in all a decent watch, but nothing to provoke thought afterwards.6/10- A more small the Panic Room |
