Review: The two faces of January is very gripping and watchable movie that I highly recommend. Located in the sixties, it's definitely old school? Twisted story of murder, betrayal and double-dealing, based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith, where you half expect to appear in Alfred Hitchcock's cameo in some point.Viggo Mortensen (Lord of the Rings) and Kirsten Dunst (Spiderman) Chester plays and Colette MACFARLAND rich and wealthy couple traveling around the sites and sounds of Europe, our first catch up with them in Athens.Appearing delicious looking relaxed and happy to be together, they have a dark secret which to hold their hides. Oscar Isaac? Many find Bush Davis earlier this year, and the mega-star hit in the Star Wars reboot? Rydal play American thug seemingly staring carefully at Chester. As part of the storm approaching him, or just an innocent caught up in events it can not control? Tensions are rising, not just because of the plot weight, but also because of the obvious sexual tension grows between the charismatic and Rydal Chesters beautiful and compelling story wife. The much younger? although somewhat predictable in places? take in some incredible atmospheric places in Athens, Crete and Istanbul. This directorial first feature from Iranian-born Hossein Amini, who also wrote the script? This is his forte, a series of films, including Drive and Snow White and the Huntsman wrote. And what a good job was organizing the venue, lighting and music are very effective. Some of the editing is very tight, cut off from the scenes at critical points mystery. The Storys trio of actors will continue to bear enormous power star roles. Mortensen and Dunst is very watchable, but Isaac again very clearly in his role. In turns beautiful, brooding and demolition like an animal trapped, he plays the character James Stewart is the perfect Hitchcockian homage. In the blitz came from movies of the summer, this is a gem of a film, especially among older viewers remember when enjoying a story and location CGI-based special effects in this.
